Express pedicure
Women’s legs with groomed nails and heels are a bad form. The pedicure procedure, or the refining of toenails, has long become one of the most necessary for modern women. In the warm season, the feet need comprehensive care. And a pedicure is not only a design on the nails of the toes, but also a whole range of procedures, which include cleaning the feet, removing calluses, keratinized layers of the epidermis, and foot massage. Pedicure, carried out regularly, not only prevents the appearance of new problems with the nails and skin of the feet, but also allows you to get rid of existing ones.
The most popular types of pedicure are currently classic and European.
Professionals advise taking the choice between classic and European pedicure very seriously, taking into account factors such as the degree of regularity of the pedicure, the thickness of the nails, the susceptibility of the skin, and many others. The pedicure procedure is the removal of corns, the prevention of nail deformities and fungal diseases and, of course, an aesthetic service.
The European pedicure is the safest and gentlest of all types of pedicure, as no cutting tools are used in its execution. Therefore, the probability of getting a microtrauma during the processing of nails and feet in this way is reduced to zero.
European pedicure is also called EXPRESS PEDICURE because it takes less time to complete than other types of pedicure. It is only suitable for regular use, as well as for people with very sensitive and dry skin.
EXPRESS PEDICURE consists of the following steps:
- REMOVING NAIL POLISH.
- SOAKING feet in a bath with the addition of sea salt or oils.
- NAIL TREATMENT. A special softening agent is applied to the cuticle, and then it can be easily pushed back with a wooden stick. A feature of express pedicure is the use of specialized nail files for grinding the nail plate and periungual tissue.
- PROCESSING STOP. A soft foot scrub is applied to the feet, rubbing into the skin, and then the complete treatment of the feet begins with the help of grinding paddles.
- APPLYING CREAM to the skin of the feet and MASSAGE, as a result of which blood circulation improves, and, accordingly, the supply of nutrients to the nail plate.
- NAIL COVERING WITH POLISH or a therapeutic agent at the request of the client.
The disadvantages of express pedicure include the fact that it is carried out on legs that do not have problems, that is, they are not running. It is necessary to constantly support the result obtained. A stable positive result is achieved after 5-7 sessions, therefore, at the first stages of the transition to an express pedicure, it is recommended to combine it with a classic edged pedicure.
The advantages of an express pedicure are that the cuticle on the nails is not damaged, and with regular procedures it becomes elastic, thinner, and its growth slows down. The second plus is the safety of the pedicure due to the non-use of cutting tools. And the third advantage is the speed of the procedure.
A pedicure in the summer is recommended to be performed preferably twice a month, since frequent wearing of beach shoes or walking barefoot leads to roughening of the skin. In the winter season, the legs are protected by warm clothes and shoes, so the number of visits to the pedicure room can be reduced.
Regular customers who use express pedicure for foot care also refer to it as a way of relaxation. However, one has to reckon with the fact that in the minds of some people there is an opinion that a pedicure is a purely feminine fun for decorating nails. But having looked at the salon at least once and pampered their feet with an express pedicure, clients begin to understand that this procedure is a symbol of respect for their body and a source of pride.
